Timothy and Christina // Kathmandu Anniversary Session

Timothy and Christina are two of the dearest hearts I have had the pleasure of knowing in Nepal. Seeing their love for one another and how they sacrifice for each other has been incredible. Their personalities fit like lock and key. It’s rare to find this kind of love nowadays.

In June they celebrated their 1 year anniversary and to celebrate they brought me along to capture these moments in time for them. Afterwards they shared the most delicious goat dinner with Robbie and I. My favorite memory of the shoot was when Christina was walking down the stairway from the roof and Timothy looked up exclaiming… “It’s like we’re getting married again.” I couldn’t have been more thrilled to capture these. Enjoy.

Sangita and Pramod // Nepali Wedding in Kathmandu

Even though it’s winter time here, it’s also wedding season here in Nepal. That means loud bands playing traditional Nepali wedding music are not an uncommon sight.

I recently had the special opportunity of photographing a couple named Sangita and Pramod. As is the custom, their marriage was also an arranged marriage but this time it was between two Brahman families. Sangita and Pramod’s wedding happened in a beautiful, story-like village called Cabre, just a short drive from the city and the village Sangita has lived in. Fields and fields of mustard flowers can be seen all around.  Their day was full of colors, festivity, feasting, dancing and traditional Nepali music and more.
