What we wanted to do in this shoot was to capture Silja’s personality and her flair for life. Being an actress and a dancer (out of the zillions of things Silja is) is probably one of the most helpful things you can have to make you a photogenic person. Silja can pull a smile or a straight face any time she wants and she definitely pulled the straight face well in these shots. Silja has quite a story and every picture she’s in tells a little more of that story. What looks like her modeling the jacket is just her being herself. We were going for a rustic look in these photos with the junkyard look and all. I love what came out of it and the sun was being oh so kind.
